Despite this influx of new choices, the total inventory of homes for sale dipped slightly by 1.0% to 1,893. This kept the monthly supply of inventory tight at 3.9 months, representing a 2.6% decrease from last year. Properties moved noticeably faster this September. What This Means for Buyers and Sellers

For those looking to make moves, the data highlights a highly competitive and fast-paced environment. The median sales price climbed 13.2% year over year to reach $866,000. Sellers are also seeing strong returns, securing 95.6% of their original list price, which is a 0.9% increase from the previous year. While buyer activity remained steady, closed sales saw a 5.3% decrease to 551 total closings. Pending sales also experienced a slight 2.5% dip, landing at 593 for the month.
